GO-UP FOUNDER MESSAGE
If there is a perfect time to give, shouldn't it be now? Waiting for the ideal moment is a privilege children in villages may not have.
In 2016, my plan to give back was shattered when I lost my father. However, our vision of ending illiteracy through education remained. We started with the village where his parents migrated and where I spent part of my childhood hanging with grandparents and working the land growing crops.
Even then, formal education was denied to many children. Education is a right, not a privilege. Yet, in many villages, it is not accessible to all. The annual school fee averages less than $20 yearly, but many still need help. As a result, they miss out on the chance for a better future.
But we can change that. GO-UP commitment will be even more impactful with your help. Let us be the perfect time for these children to thrive. We can make education accessible to all. Join the GO-UP Movement and become a Hope Ambassador. Your small contribution can make a significant impact on a child's life.
Seeing the children's joy as they learn and grow and knowing their lives improve is priceless.
